HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR ELEGANT POLO SHIRT
Looking after your clothes is more important. With a little bit of care during wash time, you can increase its lifespan and maintain its good looks too.
Take care of your ELEGANT Polo Shirt with our handy guide and keep it looking sharp for long long time…
READYÂ TO WASH:
- Button the shirt to the collar.
- Turn the polo shirt inside out.
- Flip the collar up, which should help protect the collar from curling.
WASH:
- Always wash your lighter-colored polo shirts with clothes that appear lighter in hue.
- Never wash dark-colored shirts with light-colored items since this will result in a faded-looking polo shirt.
- Polo shirts with stripes can be washed alongside white and colored clothing.
- Since red/black bleeds, you must avoid washing red/Black polo shirts with white or other colored clothing, as well as any red garments with white or other colored polo shirts
- We prefer hand wash with normal water but if you use washing machine ,use a single-cycle setting on your washing machine with only cold water or max at a temperature of 40°. Be prepared to remove the polo shirt from the washing machine immediately. Â
DRY:
- DO NOT TUMBLE DRY, which can degrade the fabric and cause shrinkage, yellowing.
- Place your polo shirt over a clothesline or a drying rack, from well under the sleeves.
- Always hang your tops upside down to avoid distorting Collar and body shape.
- Dry your polo on a hanger (preferably plastic to avoid damage to the shape of the shoulders). This naturally reduces wrinkling.
- Avoid clothes pegs that can stretch, deform or mark the item of clothing.
- Bear in mind, though, not to expose your polo to direct sunlight to prevent potential fading.
IRONING:
- Check the iron settings on the POLO SHIRT label. Using too high a heat can damage the fabric and leave marks so use a lower temperature.
- Add some steam or water before ironing, to help smooth and flatten the fibers.
STORING:
- For storing, it’s best to fold or roll them and put them on a shelf or in a drawer, out of direct sunlight. Hanging can cause the fabric to stretch or become misshapen around the neck and shoulders
